| Home Owner Association Management | |||
| A Pro-Active Perspective | |||
| Having
previously been a resident of a local town house community for some 10 years, I
have seen first hand what most of the issues are regarding
home owner associations. The responsibilities for HOA boards of directors
are many: maintaining common area landscaping, repairs to common areas of
buildings, enforcement of rules and regulations, collection of fees and
payment of expenses. Occasionally there is the issue of non-payment
of fees by some property owners.
The most important part of assisting boards of directors is for the management company to "manage by walking around". By that I mean walking the property and being accessible to the individual owners to learn of their concerns and suggestions. If problems can be foreseen, they can usually be minimized. If you reside in a Hickory area subdivision, condo, or town house, and would like more information about how I might assist your association, call me at (828) 322-6016 or email me at alexrooker@alexrooker.com I will personally respond to your inquiry.
