Experience with boating started with my first purchase in 1976. It was a 17' Ebb Tide Captiva bow rider.  It was replaced by a Helms 24 foot sailboat in the early eighties.  Later, Hurricane Hugo "ate" the sailboat.  It was replaced with another 17 foot power boat.

The power boat allowed my daughters to learn the skills of water skiing.  I also took it off shore (within a couple of miles) to fish at Morehead City.

In 1999 Diann and I acquired a Hunter 26 as the first Real Estate Sails.  We upgraded to our Catalina 30 earlier this year.

Based on the 25 years of experience and after much studying, I passed the Coast Guard exams to carry passengers for hire.  The license allows me to legally carry existing and former real estate clients out for activities.

Diann and I have great expectations of getting to know my clients better and to have a great day of boating / sailing on Lake Norman with them and their families.  What a wonderful opportunity- this is part of what I mean when I say, "real estate should be fun"!

There are additional photos that I'll post over the next couple of updates to my property listings.

Meanwhile, thanks for stopping by the site.
